Pete Silvermann is a composer/producer for film, TV, and video games in the southeast of the UK. He enjoys writing orchestral, cinematic, game, classical, ethnic, rock, and pop music.

Since he took an interest in music at an early age, he has studied guitar, bass, percussion/drums, piano, cello, and various other unique instruments.

He creates music in various genres and prides himself on adapting to any style/sound required. While highly confident in recreating almost any sound, he has a strong sense of musical identity when the project allows it.

He believes one of the critical roles of a composer is to interpret the language of the medium and the creator’s vision and turn it into one fully cohesive work. The synergy between visuals, emotion, and sound can make or break a scene, so he pays the utmost attention to these elements with every piece he creates.

Philosophical Approach And Creative Influences

Pete is always on the lookout for new styles of harmonic language which can meld into his work. His love of orchestration means he frequently analyses innovative orchestrations to further his creative palette.

He stays on top of the latest fringe of innovation in music production. He firmly believes that understanding the complex relationships between production, mixing, and mastering allows an artist to yield far superior results.
